Alyssa Warren- Sherwin– Alyssa’s love for synchronized skating began as a skater. She has over 18 years experience in the sport of synchronized skating and has competed at the local, national and international level! She grew in her role as primary coach to our Beginner and Juvenile skaters from 2013-2015 and currently is head coach of our Pre-Novice team.
Alyssa is loved by her skaters for her gentle spirit, caring heart and her shared love of skating! It has been a pleasure to watch her develop as a coach and a leader within our club!

Kiersten Jackman– You might recognize Kiersten from one of our many synchronized skating programs — she has starred in many! Kiersten began skating at the age of 4 and has achieved gold levels in interpretive and skills and diamond level in dance! At age 18, Kiersten began competing with ESSC in synchronized skating. She has proudly represented our club at many local, provincial and national level competitions on our Intermediate and Open teams coached by Michele Rowein.
Kiersten became interested in coaching synchro while acting as a program assistant with our Juvenile and Pre-Novice teams and administrating and coaching our CanSkate programs. It was in these roles where we began to see her true coaching potential. Kiersten’s organizational skills, patience, kind soul and synchro creativity shine through when she is working on the ice with our young skaters!
Kiersten is a Primary StarSkate Certified Coach and is entering her fifth year of coaching. She has experience coaching multiple levels of skating from CanSkate up to the StarSkate levels.
It is a unique scenario to be a young coach AND skater! Kiersten’s skaters have witnessed her in synchro action and that builds a deep respect and admiration between skater and coach! We are excited for her to lead our youngest skaters into the sport of synchronized skating! We know she will develop a love for the sport in each one of them that will keep them skating for many years to come!
